Well thanks everyone for your vote of confidence. I thought the hearts looked a bit plain in the borders but perhaps when I get them all done it will look different again.

I have just started my first block. The machine quilting did not work out so I will try to applique the next one. Any ideas. Your blocks are beautiful.

Lizzy, more info please, in what way did the machine applique not work out.? Did you use the fusing method and an open stitch rather than a satin stitch. A few are using this method and it seems to be working for them.

Yes it seems to have come out quite pink this one. When I look at Lesleyīs her quilt favours blue.

Absolutely gorgeous, Elle. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing with the setting triangles. Are you going to do sashings between the blocks in the center? That is one decision I am trying to make now, whether to sash or not. Maybe I'll lay it out if I have time today. I have to go help a friend make a photo collage puzzle for her grandchildren.

Good luck with the photo collage puzzle.

I donīt know whether to put a sashing in the middle part or not. I will definately put sashing on the outside blocks though.
