I like your fabric and the blocks. Maybe to add a little to it, you could use stashing of a contrasting or attention getting color....I love the old looking prints.. reminds me of my childhood with my grandmother.

I love the quiet colors. This is going to be a great looking quilt. Don't give up on it.

I am glad you chose to keep going on your quilt. I love the colors, and agree that you will also find a second design emerge as you continue on. Please keep us posted, I would love to see the final quilt.

I hope all the positive feedback has convinced you to keep working on this quilt. I too, think what you've got going is beautiful. Subtle can be gorgeous! And one thing I've learned from quilting---sometimes a customer would bring in a quilt that she no longer liked, somewhere along the process it 'turned on her' & some have even said they hated the quilt they were bringing in to be long-armed. It was always so fun to see their faces when it was finished & they came to pick it up --- quilting transformed it & they again loved the quilt. It happens all the time, so please keep going. You'll be so glad you did!!

We quilters are our own worst critics. Your first photo shows the contrast so well. Like everyone else, keep going. I'm sure you're going to be very surprised.

I love it! I think it will be subtly exquisite when it's all done.

I would not stop. I love the fabrics and they are very pretty. I like the way they look together. It can be a beautiful blended quilt. I say go for it.

our group did a mystery project last year. when I finished it I was unhappy-not enough contrast,- it seemed to just blend together! When we met & displayed them(12)-- almost everyone liked my"dreamy, waterclor quilt" the BEST. When I stepped back--I COULD SEE WHAT THEY WERE SEEING! Ithink the same will happen for you! Do the applique as suggested, add some dark, premade skinny bias tape, swirled to give some movement!!-IF you think it needs more at the end!

I really like it!! If you want to have the fabrics stand out from each other, do it in the quilting - maybe heavy quilting on one fabric and none on the other or something like that! But I do like the low contrast! Nice job!!
