You can also look at the quilt along thread from last year to see many pictures. Start at the end and work backwards! Don't miss post 2116.... beautiful!

I really appreciate seeing everyone's fabrics and the suggestions too. It has helped me immensely! Thank you everyone.

This is my Grand Illusion from last year I changed the border slightly to include the black and white checkered flooring in the hotel that was so interesting in the pictures.....it was fun, but mine is only 1/2 size because that is the size quilt I needed. That is Burbank "Bob Hope" airport in the background as the picture was taken in a park in the hills north of the airport.

Wow! Stunning, that is so pretty! I was hoping someone would post pictures from the BH mystery quilts from last year.

I've been able to do a little sewing in the past couple of days, so my hopes are rising, that I'll be able to sew along this year. My palette changes are something of a problem. I'm kind of attached to the idea of substituting dark greens for the black, but whereas the gray makes perfect sense to me when used with the black, and looks beautiful, the gray doesn't make sense to me with the substituted greens. There is still that bright blue I liked, that could replace the gray, but the value of that is closer to the darks, and it's supposed to be a medium. What do you all think about the gray used with the greens? (I did find a less intense blue that reads more as a medium value, but I didn't really like it.)

Sunliten, you had one of the prettiest quilts last year!
