    So pretty, suern3!

I should be able to finish trimming my butterflies today, making me a very happy person. I'm eager to get on to constructing my B blocks. Then after that, the fun of the colorful A blocks.

I never did cut any geese, so I'm considering different border options. Top of the list is the alternating string border from Grassy Creek (which I didn't make with Grassy Creek). That would allow me to revel in all of my beautiful pinks. Not sure it would be appropriate with these rather formal looking A blocks -- they remind me of Japanese pagodas.

I just finished Clue 4 today, my butterflies. I have 11 extra. Now on to clue 5. I started about 1 month late so am still playing catch-up but I have 10 months to finish in time for the next mystery! Hope Bonnie does another one!

Oh, Joe'smom, those look fantastic! That looks like a Grunge aqua. I love Grunge. It will be great in your quilt.

Everyone is doing such a fabulous job with this BH mystery…I love all the different color ways and reading your posts. Iceblossom, I love your pink geese and imagine you have a fun stash to pull from. Siodach and Suern…great color choices. Keep up the great work.

suern3 and joe'smom- love your blocks!!!

I hope to get back to mine soon. My niece's quilt is sandwiched and now I have to quilt it. I want her to have it hopefully before her surgery. Although it was a fast one I really like how it looks.

I thought that I had counted correctly, but clearly I am missing some sashing and cornerstones (I found a few more that I left on the sewing machine, so they aren't in the photo, but I'm still short). And of course, after I took the picture, I noticed that one of the cornerstones is put together incorrectly, so I have to fix it.

I limited this to only one of the blocks, and am saving the butterfly block for another quilt. So far, I'm pretty happy with how this is turning out, and the added bonus is that I could use up the corners that we cut off the block to make the cornerstones. Alas, back to work tomorrow, so it will be a while before I get back to this.
