I also purchase a couple more books from Amazon. Two-Hour Mini Quilt Projects: Over 111 Appliqued and Pieced Designs by Kate, McKenzie and A Year In The Life Of Sunbonnet Sue, A: 12 Small Quilts. I really like applique and need to explore a few more methods.

Very pretty, Judith....and some fun books to play. It's hard for me to make a quilt that doesn't have applique so I get it. Have fun and thanks for the resource for FQ's.

Love your fabrics Judith!! Very bright and cheery

That Sun Bonnet book is great. The appliques are very detailed, lots of work. I really need to make a Sun Bonnet quilt, even if it's a wall hanging

Our LQS is closing. I always wondered how they managed to stay alive because they're quite expensive. I went there this week to see if they have the Urban Owls pattern book. They don't.....instead I purchased some FQ's.

Oh...bummer. Another LQS closing. The on-line shopping has really impacted these little shops.

Awesome Christmas Wife Anael. I love the fussy cuts. Too bad about your local quilt store though. You are going to have to plan your purchases ahead of time.

We have one local quilt store in our area. And, they only carry a very specific blend of fabrics. A lot of times I go in there to look but, walk away without buying anything. It's a lot of novelty's of different sorts. I'm over novelty prints unless I find one I absolutely love. Which I haven't. I try to go more for blenders.

And finished!! I didn't even cook today Now it's time for a coffee and some rest! Of course Santa's Wife still needs to be sandwiched and quilted!
    Bakers Dozen will be next.

Just stunning, I love the themed fabric. Reminds me of rolled wrapping paper, ribbons and bows.
