Why blow the "budget" (aka food and calories) on the marginal waxy stuff?
... if I am going there, I am having the really good stuff and know what, I stop a whole lot sooner.
Likewise with cheese ..... top quality and mmmmmmmmmm ... but again, I stop faster.

    So it's all win-win!

You know what you have done ... have me hankering for good bread.
Lucky for me ... we have an old-fashioned bakery here in the village and I can satisfy that need, easily!
What is the name of the bakery and the name of the village?

ezekiel bread often sold in the freezer section, is a healthy alternative made with sprouts and stuff like that. You have to keep it frozen because the shelf life is short. I just take a few slices out an hour before and let thaw. It taste good, but different. I also like the really good bread from a bakery, or making bread from scratch too.

They also sell Ezekiel bread at trader Joe's and it's not frozen and fresher and tastes better too.

While a Keto diet allows some yummy foods what I really miss are bread and fruit. Ugh!

There are breads on the market that is 35 cals. a slice that is half what is in a regular slice of bread. WW , Healthy Life and Aunt Millie's make several that are half the carbs They come in white, whole wheat, and whole grain. There are also English muffins and bagels available with Healthy Life and Aunt Millie's. I use these all the time.

I am diabetes control so not even keto, my doctor and nutritionist says I can go up to 100 or so but I typically average around 65 carbs a day because I really want my apple or banana a day. My big treat is every other week when we go to Costco I get a hot dog and eat it bun and all.

Before shopping with the Hubby I had to feed him first and then go shopping. Now we pick up a rotisserie chicken and he eats part of it while I eat my hot dog. He also will sometimes get two hot dogs, no buns but hot dogs still have carbs and he now prefers the chicken.
