Friday is Pot Luck day at work and we are supposed to bring in a dish to share. Does anyone have any good suggestions for something quick and easy that everyone might like. Cooking is really not my thing! I could use some help!!
    Thanks!!

Here's one of my favorites recipes for a potluck or party:

    3 simple ingredients:
Meatballs (buy a bag ready cooked in the frozen food section-don't worry about thawing-will thaw as the dish cooks)
1 Can of whole cranberry sauce (not the jellied kind)
1 Jar of Pace Picante sauce

If enough time ahead: mix all 3 ingredients in a crock pot. Cook until heated through & then keep warm & serve in the crock pot.

or - mix all 3 ingredients in a bake dish & cook in the oven (350*) until heated through & then can keep warm & serve at the potluck in a crockpot.

Thank you! What is this called. I could make this in the crock pot and bring the whole thing to work. That would work out fine! Just trying to find something that will make me look like I am able to cook! haha!!

Last time we had soup day and I brought my Potato Soup. It was a huge hit and everyone wanted the recipe. I didn't want to admit that its about the only thing good that I can make! I guess now I have to live up to that! ; )

    Another good meatball recipe is:

    one bag frozen meatballs
    one-2 jars chili sauce
    small jar grape jelly
just heat in crock pot or heat on top of stove then transfer to crock pot.
You can also throw in some cocktail weiners

Another is to buy frozen hot wings, bake in oven or grill outside on grill and then transfer to crockpot and bring along a bottle of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Crock pot lasagna is another good one for carry ins

Thank you Rae! Those sound really good too!
How do you decide whether to add one or two jars of chili sauce?

The meatballs with the chili sauce/grape jelly is ALWAYS a hit at my office.

You can also subsitute cocktail weiners(lil smokies) for the meatballs...my family loves this.

I've used the cocktail weiners (lil smokies) instead of the meatballs. Big hit at the pot luck we had where I worked before retirement.

I think I use two jars cause they are small, just use enough to make enough sauce to cover most of the meatballs , of course as they cook more sauce will form from the water running down from the lid. I sometimes mince a green pepper and a small onion and throw in to.

At my work they are on the ornery side and call them weiners and balls  :-D

Brought this to a pot luck yesterday & everyone loved it. Looks like you slaved over the stove but it's simple...

    Mexican Fiesta
    Ingred.
13 Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
    1 (16oz.) jar Thick & Chunky salsa
3 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped green onion (optional)
1 small can sliced ripe olives - drained

    Preheat oven 375 - melt 2 TBL butter/marg in glass 13x9 pan
    Tilt to coat evenly
Separate dough into biscuits - cut each into eighths.
Place biscuit pieces in large bowl.
Toss with salsa & spoon evenly into coated pan
Sprinkle with cheese, peppers, onions, olives

Bake at 375 for 35-45 min. ~ until center is set & edges brown
Let stand 15 min. then cut into squares.
Serve with additional salsa if desired.
    Enjoy!
