I am so excited with FW's. Congrats to all that have one or more and how exciting for those looking for one to call their own! I put a new belt on 'Duchess' bathed her and got her all set up, and I was so surprised when I started sewing with her!! She is smooth and quiet but very powerful! I am thrilled and will be using her for piecing and my quilting travel companion and much more I am sure... I have only been thrilled like that once before in my life with such power in a small package and it was with my beautiful 14'2 hand Tennessee Walker. Every time we went out for a ride it was a thrill. I expect it will be the same my little Duchess.

I haven't named it... yet.
I free motion on my featherweight with no problem.

I just got my 1950 Featherweight in the mail from an eBay purchase yesterday. While I was anxiously waiting for it to arrive, I discovered this board! It's so much fun to read about everyone's' experiences!! Also, so much information for someone who knows nothing about this fun new adventure! I'm so glad I found you!
