I have just finished playing with my Frister and Rossmann, and yes the singer 12 boat shuttle will work just fine in this machine. The F&R shuttle however is much easier to thread than the singer 12 boat shuttle. The is no difference in the stitch all perfectly formed.
Yes Steve this is so sad to destroy such a nice machine. How could they???

Apparently all that useless junk hanging off the bottom was just in the way. I don't have the words, well no polite ones anyway. I'm guessing they lost money on that great idea.

I tend to think that people are free do whatever they want to with their own stuff.

CD, they are. Some ideas are better than others though. They knew they had something cool enough to display but apparently they didn't know it was cool enough to keep in one piece. They would have been better off selling it whole or parting it out instead of cutting it apart.

Meanwhile here's a toy that's pretty in pink. It's not really for laughs though. Someone here might actually want it.

I also think people are free to do what they want with there stuff. I have issues when the "modify" something with the hopes of making it more sell-able, without trying to figure out if what they have is worth more in the original state.

My big issue is people doing things to antiques that cannot be undone... Painting it purple can be redone and is no issue, but if it had it's original decals and paint, even this would torque me out. I agree and would defend to the death their right to be stupid and insensitive to history and those who care about it....

They obviously don't watch enough "Antique Roadshow" How many times do you hear the appraisers say if the item had its original finish or was complete and not altered it would be worth so much more.
