    This UK ebayer has parted a model 128 into 19 lots - the buy it now price for all the lots totals £244.81!!!

    (For comparison re UK prices, I have just bought a lovely Singer 28 for £15 from Ebay)

    was that parted out machine from the guy who used to sew through pop cans???

    you know that not only are there a ton of machines on Indianapolis CL, there are also a ton at GW. And to rub salt into an open wound, the GW store there WON'T SHIP.
    so I always see machines I want, and can't get.

    I would think that a little clean up might go a long way in increasing the appeal of these:
