Unhappy Lost Singer 301 gib hook screw

Despite all my precautions, I lost the gib hook screw for my 301. Anyone know where I can get 1 (or 2 or 3 lol). Does the Featherweight gib hook screw fit the 301? Any help would be appreciated.

Rats. I think I bought a replacement screw for my 301 from Aprils 30's shop http://www.april1930s.com/index.html

You'll have to e-mail her and probably include a photo of the missing screw spot so she can get the right one for you.

This place has all kinds of screws / parts for your 301:

If they don't carry the one you need, they are super fast at special order items. I've used them several times with no problems. (I'm not affiliated with them in any way...just like their service & their prices & they have had parts that I've needed.)

Glenn Williams has all the parts for a Singer 301 or Featherweight. He is best contacted by phone. Not affiliated, just a satisfied customer. http://pages.suddenlink.net/joyof301s/glenn.htm

The part number for the screw is: 140694 , and yes, it shares with the 221/222
Glenn will likely have one, Sew-Classic can order it, I'm sure April1930s has it, but for the price of it, even a local shop should be able to order it for you. It should be had for under $3 though I've seen it as high as $6.
