I'm up late tonight wandering around the internet. Well, I found this on ebay, Singer 201K EEE650981 in Rehoboth MA (never heard of the place).

This could be put in a treadle.

Very nice machine! What is the name across the front say? I first read it as hauntedhouse...eeks, too scary a name, then thought it must say Rittenhouse.

It says "Whitehouse".....I didn't find anything on line about this. (Maybe it came from there in one of the former resident's clean up campaigns???)

Monica, it looks like that machine could be bought for the shipping costs alone. I wish they would take pictures of the front! Anyone in that area, the 201 is suppose to be the "finest machine Singer ever made."

Here is another Whitehouse treadle.

It has to be a badged machine made for probably a department store, I'd guess. Miz Johnny what do you think? Have you come across a Whitehouse treadle?

Nancy

I love this group, without this group non of us could see so many different machines.

Didn't someone need a pitman?

The machine is all there and just needs some TLC to get her up and treadling.

Oh she is so beautiful and your hubby is a great guy indeed!!! That is the later version of mine that I have in the garage needing a good clean up. At least the irons are finished!!

If you give me the serial number off of it I can date the machine for you. The serial maybe located on the needlebar and on the bed of the machine depending on the year. I can not believe you have the needles to go with it also!! That is a find in itself. ;)

Look at this fabric for sale on Ebay! It's got pictures of sewing machines that look like our vintage favorites! Even a Wilcox and Gibbs chain stitch machine and a featherweight.

That is cute, I have some fabric that is nothing but treadles. I found it on clearance in Jackson TN and bought the entire bolt of it. I used some in my lap quilt I have over me right now.

Would be willing to buy another set of draws as the tracks are worn badly.
Any help would be great, Thanks Patrick.

That is a nice fiddle base! I might have a lock for the drawer but I will have to look to be sure. What type of key does it take Square, Triangle, or Slotted.
