Anyone heard from Purplefiend, Sharon? She lives in the Texas area that was having all the bad fires. I hope all is well for her too.

Thanks buslady and Bojangles. I have done all of that. It seems that when the needle goes down to pick up the bobbin thread it comes unthreaded. I can't figure out why or how. I am soooo frustrated!!

I thought I saw where Purplefiend posted on a thread a few days ago but I am not sure now. I hope all is well for our members down there. Didnt the Governor declare the entire state a disaster area?

I just bought this little hand crank on E-bay. Any ideas about its age or origin?? The seller said a Brunswick, perhaps??? Didn't think I would win it, but I did.

DH just scored a Singer 503 in a cabnet with all the feet and cams, at an auction for $10. Can someone please tell me what size bobbin it takes and where to find a manuel? Thanks

What an interesting machine. Lucky you. I did go to Brunswick sewing machines site and your machine looks similar. Their picture was a little blurry, you need to teach them how to take a good picture. Please send a picture when you get her cleaned up. Kathie
