Thank you. Me too, since I got hooked on vintage sewing machines I've been on a lookout and this is the treadle that I've been wanting. I got a chance to buy a white treadle for $20 but for some reason I like singer more.

Thanks again all of you. I checked the cabinet again this morning and it's in good condition except of course that there are some missing cabinet parts. I will keep you all posted after she had her extensive spa treatment.

sunflowerzz, lovelyl, maureent and GreyQ: thanks a lot. now that i got Carol, my on hold projects will be on hold for the moment as she needs more attention and more TLC and an extensive spa treatment.

If you run into problems in nursing her to health or any questions - Bonnie Hunter (Quiltville) not only has a couple treadles but loves to offer help in getting these babies sewing right - I am sure she would be tickled to death to offer opinions, advice and encouragement. :-)

Beautiful machine and cabinet, so happy you're her new caretaker. I thought I only liked Singer machines, until I was given a 1917 White Rotary. I've been using it since late November, its a fabulous machine. I bought a treadle cabinet for "Susie", removed the motor, she's much happier as a treadle. I don't have to keep picking up 40 pounds of machine to use on the table.
