It's the popular Singer White machine.
Well I'm amazed. Had no idea they made plastic or electronics in 1866!

This is my grandmother Antique sewing machine. This sewing machine is in excellent shape and condition. The sewing machine can disappear inside of the desk asking $2000.00 or best offer
I googled "Nelco vintage sewing machines" and the first image was your post on QB:

Ha! That is funny. I love my Nelco. It is as heavy as a Buick though.

I just saw this one on eBay. Seller needs to look up the definition of mint condition!

You'd think for the $1400 price he could have used marble or granite instead of formica to set the sink in a White treadle base!

That is hysterical! You didn't really offer $10, did you? Maybe I should offer $15...

If you do, I want that repainted, missing slideplate machine and will offer $15.01. But only if they deliver it for free from Maryland to Illinois and not strapped to a pallet either. That sounds about as reasonable as the price. And also provide an explanation on how you can drive a sewing machine to church on Sundays.

SteveH and Grant15clone, you both have made my day! I bow out to your $15.01 bid. Too rich for my blood...

I hope the church is close enough for a 100 ft extension cord. Maybe if I convert it to one of those tractor sewing, or sowing machines...
Some make me laugh too. Some make me want to cry, but never a dull moment here.
I am glad I was able to brighten your day.

I bet it runs like a sewing machine.

I went ahead and insulted them, since they didn't refrain from insulting me with that price, and the lame attempt at justifying it.

Oh, and over-inflated eBay prices don't constitute any sort of appraisal, especially when it isn't even a comparable machine.

Well it -was- a closet appraisal...
I see he wants more money for his, probably because a 66 is bigger than a 128?

    Lol.

I guess the fact that he got lucky and managed to get a hold of the only Singer 66 made in 1916 makes it worth $900 more than the hundreds of thousands of other machines made every other year.

He wants more than the one in the "appraisal" because his is in a cabinet. It's as if he went to ebay, sorted by "highest price", picked the first machine on the list and declared that his machine is worth the asking price of the ebay machine, plus the value of the cabinet. If he noticed it was a different model he probably doesn't even care. They're all the same to him.

He looked up the date but seems to have ignored the column indicating that 50,000 were allocated that day. I kinda actually feel sorry for the guy -- he can't get one thing right.

Did you notice down at the bottom they had a "free CLOSET" appraisal....something the vice squad might need to look into.

Brutal - I wonder if it stole a horse? It is still a hanging offense in Texas isn't it?
NEVER let a sewing machine know you are in a hurry.
