I have noticed and I might check into getting our own section but I somehow do not think it will happen. But its hard to argue with the numbers we have put up in 6 weeks.

Billy, How very interesting to see. Glad you posted this little bit of history! Did you notice what looks like a perfect lock stitch in the limestone (?) above the door, second picture in the row with the word "images". And the emblems and badges and now I don't wonder where all the fancy decoration on the face plates, etc., came from, or vice-versa.

Cabinet is beautiful; machine, not so much. . . . . Maybe $25.

I have to say, the White-made machines have the most beautiful cabinets. However, those bullet-shapes, godzilla finish, and especially the friction motors just don't float my boat. I've come across one or two that were desirable because of the cabinets, but the machines wound up in the landfill. (Sorry folks, can't save them all.)

There are a few of the decal patterns in the carvings if you look close enough. And yes that is stitching in the limestone!!

I would love to buy one of those Singer placards if I could even find one. And yes there would be no limit on what I would spend to get one.

anyone ever hear of a kenmore 1120 model?? i found one with a cabinet, guy says it works. Its on CL. hes wants 65 with cabinet.

Crazy, I would not pay that much for it. I have seen that this cabinet came with a cut little low back chair. I'm no expert but think you can find this machine for much less.
