Charlee, here it is. Is this the plate you have? Check out the no foot pedal - uh, guys, there's no motor. Unless they're calling the irons a foot pedal.

I thought the same thing...well, not exactly, cuz I'm not giving up my treadles, but thought about suggesting that a vintage machine is purchased for a backup..
How many vintage machines would you suggest as a backup? Just curious cuz I have backups for my backups as I know others on theis site do also.
I have 2 Two Spools, 2 Davis NVF, 2 Singer 66s, 2 Singer 15-90.

Looks like two of everything, just in case I need a part.

For real, one only needs one machine that works.

But back to list...1 Singer 9W, Singer 401, FW, Singer VS2, 1 Standard Rotary, free Free, Singer 328, Graybar that doesn't work( thinking of bypassing the motor or seeing if I can)....

Have to have more than one treadle too since the cabinets are each special with their ornate art work. Oh, and some irons are a must too! I need a basement!!!

I think so...I don't recall what kind of condition mine is in...I'll dig out the box it lives in tomorrow and check for you...it may have some (minor?) rust issues, but if it would work until you found a pretty one...
