Well, to make a short story long.....I went to an auction today looking for attachments...instead I bought 5 (yes, that is five) machines as a group for $15.00 (yes, that is fifteen).....poor babies are in pretty bad shape....some may recover, some I'm not so sure of.....see for yourself.....
This machine is all but locked tight

What is the "needlebar"?
Yay Lisa!!!!
You will have fun on there and yes lots of information to be gleaned there.
Billy
I just got approved too! It's like trying to get into Fort Knox, but I am enjoying browsing. I think I will lurk for a while before I venture any further.

They are "verticle feed" and "vibrating shuttle". Can anyone explain what they mean?
Thanks Lisa

Billy,
The scotts liquid gold I find at Home Depot is a cleaner and preservative.
Is this the right one?
Thanks.

And because I couldn't leave well enough alone, I also bought a like new Domestic Special machine for $22.50-I had it bought for $5.00 until the lady beside me decided that if I were going to buy it, it must be something special.....
oh, and I almost forgot to mention the full set of working irons for a New Home treadle....no cabinet or machine just the irons....
The auction company loves to see me show up at their auctions....I honestly have no idea what I will do with any of this.....
Oh, and I bought a set of cams for what machine I have no idea......

Darcene, Good for you, oh for the joy of auctions. I can't find any in this area.
I hope you grow to love all the ones you have rescued. :P
