They are "verticle feed" and "vibrating shuttle". Can anyone explain what they mean?

Thanks Lisa

I just got approved too! It's like trying to get into Fort Knox, but I am enjoying browsing. I think I will lurk for a while before I venture any further.

I bought a shuttle for my White VS III on ebay this morning.
Finally got the right one, it came with the wrong one.
Here's the link to the closed auction.

How nice to get a brand new vintage part! Well done.

Billy, please can you tell me how I need to measure a straight (long) bobbin? From point to point, or from the little flange to the other flange? I have one in the machine, but would like at least one more. Many thanks.

I go from end to end or point to point. its the overall dimensions that are critical.

WOW! I just looked on eBay for a FW, something I haven't done in a long time. CL is my usual stompin' ground.

I was quite surprised to see the prices they are going for. It makes me feel terrific having purchased mine for $250, even though we traveled 3 hours one way to do sewww.

Maybe I should be investing in a few more to sell at a later date!

Happy quilting this weekend. ;)
