Hootnannie, thanks for the link. I printed out all the pages as well to go inthe folder with the machine info.
Nett2, I love your "new" machine, especially the FOOT pedal! Thanks for sharing.

Nancy, here is more info for you on the 66's. I have two 66 machines dated 1921 and one has the back clamp and the other has the side clamp. The one with the side clamp came with an add on stitch length reg. If you remember when I posted a picture of the machine we all wanted to know what that ugly thing was on the front of the machine. I also have a 66 dated 1916 with back clamp. I have another 66 dated 1919 and it has a back clamp. Then I have a Lotus and it has a back clamp dated 1910. Add these to your list so we can keep up with all the dates.
Nancy and everyone that has a Davis VF machine look at this one on e bay.

Look at what info comes with it. It's nice to see that someone saved all the paper work.

You would think all collectors could share their common interest without site rivalry... I guess not.
I belong to both sites, but which do I read daily? This one! The friendly one!

I really like Redeyes. Beautiful machine and I can't wait until she has an application of cleaner and liquid gold. She'll look amazing.
My gma had a redeye and I loved going down in the basement where I pretended to sew. I was always the curious one that got into more trouble because of my inquisitiveness (or orneriness). LOL.

I belong to several different SM lists, but have been hanging out here because I'm looking for a more "informal" atmosphere. (I must admit that I also "feed" off the excitement of those new to collecting!) This is a hobby for me, one I've shared with family and friends and one that has been a wonderful diversion through some really rough times, but is certainly not the most important thing in my life.
So--entertain me some more! I love hearing about all of your "new" machines!
