Yay!! What a wonderful idea!! :)

Okay, I know someone was looking for a t-shirt plate for a White earlier, and I came across this: http://www.bonanza.com/booths/sousew...Plate_w_Screws

I don't know if it will fit, but it might be an option, looks to be the same mechanism. This is the same place I got my Greist zigzagger, and I just placed an order for some more White parts.

Irishrose, Is that a quilt shop in Cadillac? I'm glad that she got a good home.

After I started reading, the article sounded so familiar. I think I've seen a similar review a while back. Wonder how much sewing you would have to do to wear the gears down??
It's not necessarily the wearing of the gears that's the problem. It's the whole machine shaking and vibrating that contributes to noise and inaccurate sewing. I wouldn't buy one.

I've posted it before - way back when

I worked on the 319 today. What a mess. I'm going to make a post - I took a ton of pics so it maybe a long post. Here is a teaser I guess.

this is the nicest cabinet I've seen in a while

a little dirty in the front

It was worth the money just for the cabinet. I haven't done any cleaning on it yet. There are a couple lite rings but looks pretty darn good otherwise. They were using the cabinet to hold up a big screen tv. The guy said he didn't know where he got it and had it for at least 10 years and never sewed. What ever.
