OK I have been out all day at my embroidery club so it has taken me a while to catch up on all the chatter...
JanRN, I do most of my own quilting, but Jamestown Landing was quilted on a HQ Avante longarm at my LQS, she rents out the machine so in effect you are doing the quilting. It is computerised so pretty easy..
Honchey my energy and inspiration comes from my beloved grandmother, I can remember as a small child sitting beside her and trying to learn hand embroidery, back them I did more unpicking than stitching. But she taught me that handmade was always better than shop bought. The other reason I get so much done it my wonderful DH goes to work and leaves me at home for a whole week on my own, so what's a girl gonna do but play with all her toys
Anael I pray every day that those precious babies will find the strength they need to gain weight and fight with all their might to stay with us.. Hugs coming your way.
Thank you everyone for your kind words on my quilt.
Still waiting on the postie for my BB's, are they here yet, are they here yet,
Time to head out for dinner at DS's, wondering what he is cooking tonight

Good luck on your fabric search, QNS--you've got some super sleuths working with you.
Anael, good news about those sweet babies. Proves the old saying "no news is good news".
Off to work to earn some FART money. Have a great day, ladies!

Thanks everyone for the searching!! Wow the results is a new learning experience! Troy Corporation is on the NW side of Chicago with over 70000 feet of warehouse space as a whole seller to retailer fabric stores! And other areas!
Now to be patient and see what the results are. Now to be patient and wait for the BBs. Now to go and bake more bread. Have baked 6 loaves since Tuesday of the Oatmeal bread. Cannot leave it alone myself and I never eat that much homemade bread...one bite leads to another one. MMMmmmmm, good!
Anael, very glad it was good news from the hospital; may it continue.

MiraB ... what good memories to have! and obviously good experiences for the joy of sewing to have been instilled in you. Wonder what your Grandmother would think of today's techniques and the machines we are using now? Did you always sew a lot? or was it something that you were able to get back to after the kids were gone and your DH worked away?
Anael ... here's for more of those quiet no news good news times!
JanRN ... Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work you go! Great spirit to know the WHY to keep you motivated!
QNSue ... while Troy is a wholesaler, give them a call. You never know what Helpful Hannah there might be, to lead you to your discovery!!! Be sure you buy MORE than you think you need, and remember you have the extra BBs that I believe you are including in the top too. Perhaps binding in the same fabric? Good Luck!

BBs found me in Missouri!!! JanRN, love the PC rider mascot!! DD, love your 'link'' Anne., have a puzzle like that!, QuiltE, A+ rated; Gardner gal, met me in the virtual RV for fresh home made bread! Mirabelle, perfection! GrannyQ, humble pieced block; Carrie, love the ears that tell the tale; Anael, very bright colors! and last but not least, Dublb, thanks for the memories of the PC trail. Thanks to all of you who made this trail so filled with the best of friendship, companionship, and a helpful of good advice and poor excuses and my substitutions on the journey. And that you enjoyed my stories which gave me back that priceless gift of joy.
Mine will show everyone how to find me...so make a date...in not so distant future..I am no longer a spring chicken...life does expire at an unknown time. Celebrate every day, find a reason to smile, and hold your family close to your heart and life.
