@IrishRose, well . . . my feet were barely able to do the Zumba class this morning. LOL I was literally going the wrong way many times. But at least I kept moving and I definitely broke a sweat. Too funny about the yoga pants being the right size for a child. I had a gift card for Macy's and found a nice pair there after Christmas. They're too thick for summer so I need to look for something lighter. I hate clothes shopping!
I'll have to try the Dove chocolate trick. I think I might be able to do that.
@Pam - he's beautiful!!! My, he really does have a lot of hair.
Leann, glad you're home and hope you are not having too much pain. Good luck with the PT.

Leann, how is it going since getting home? Is your hubby able to take care of both you and your son?
I didn't get out much to walk last week with my walking buddy on vacation and then the new grand baby being born. We went to Sparta over the weekend. Hubby and DD rode 40 + 20 miles on their bikes. They are training for the bike ride across Iowa in July. I was their pick up person but managed to visit 3 quilt shops. That part was fun!

Ok, just checking in. Been out of town the 12 of the last 15 days. Leaving again in a few minutes for another week.
Congrats on the new grandson!!!
I have Grand baby number 6 due in 7 weeks. A girl. It will even the score with 3 girls and 3 boys.
I have not lost anything this month.
I do want to be in for July but will not be back in town until the 6th or 7th.

Hello Friends,
Everyone sounds so busy. With my knees, Zumba was never an option for me. If that weren't enough, I'd sit on the sidelines with AnnaQuilts since we have no coordination. I would just look goofy.
Gayle, sounds like you are having a fabulous summer. Stay safe.
Pam, thanks for asking about my DH. He is amazing. A better cook than I, a better housekeeper than I. Poor thing has been run ragged. Last Thursday he had to get our son in Austin for a cardiologist appointment right next to the hospital that I was in. 'Cept that his appointment had been bumped to Friday. I was finally discharged after dinner on Thursday. What a circus. We have learned this month that my son & I share the same unique, abnormal (but normal for us) EKG signal.
meanmom, no, it was not planned for me to have such a long hospital stay. My insurance approved my staying between surgeries so that I could get PT. Once I was released after surgery #2, I was home less than 24 hours and they begged me to come back so that I could have PT over the weekend as my in-home care plans fell apart. I was in the hospital 18 days - I believe that if I added all the days I've been in the hospital in my life, it wouldn't come to 18 days. I did not go to a rehab facility with the first discharge, and then I was too healthy to qualify. What a wonderful label to carry.
According to all my nurses, PT ladies, and doctors, they have never seen anyone do as well with one knee replacement as I have done with both knees replaced a week apart. One nurse calls me 'show-off' and my physical therapist calls me an overachiever. I finally took a shower today without any help. Baby steps.
.
And Pat, when I sent my last skinnies, I included a blue for July. I hope this agrees with your records. I didn't wanna take a chance on not being able to send my FQ.

Wow I can't believe it is July already. Don't forget to PM me you loss for the month. Good luck everyone.
The beach is wonderful. I have been for several long walks, it is so beautiful. We went to the gym this morning instead of water aerobics. I rode 45 minutes on the bike and lifted some weights. Then I was bad and ate a bunch of Cheeto's. One of my favorite foods in the whole world. They are almost gone which is a good thing. We are grilling steaks tonight and plan to rent bikes in the morning. It is so wonderful here. I will hate to go home.
