I started doing this in 2015, and finished, I think 10 UFO'S, this year so far 5 completed and 3 further along.. Really helps keep things moving along

I absolutely LOVE having a stash and having it organized by color and type. My sis came over in July for 2 weeks and dd it for me.

This board has been a great resource for ideas and encouragement. I am so glad I joined! My stash storage is a bit haywire at the moment. I had it all neatly folded but have not been good about putting fabric back when I pull to audition pairings. So I have ruler folded stacks, next to fat quarter stacks (folded every which way), next to yardage on boards, next to odd stacks pushed onto the shelf to get them off the table. I need to buckle down and refold it all.
I should also quit following links people post about shop closings or super sales. I've added approx. 50 yards just from two links and don't yet have plans on how to use the goodies. Plus, all the arm-twisting (ha!) makes it hard to cut or sew due to the bruising but doesn't seem to effect my on-line shopping. How odd! : )

If you're looking for a new home for some of those vintage quilts, I would gladly take some of them off your hands - - - purchase, of course!
Any chance you could post some pics? Would love to see them!

I went through the books and magazines I have. I've saved a couple of newer ones I purchase in the last couple years like for appliques. The rest are repeats of quilts I already have downloaded and saved into the cloud. No use in keeping them. So much on the internet and a great dent in downsizing and cleaning the sewing room. I went through a couple binders and got rid of some duplicate patterns. Shredded some papers. Little niece doesn't want them she has some downloaded on her mother's computer. Gave her some thread, a gallon bag full. I tell her I'm getting rid of it, does she want it and "maybe" means she takes it home with her. gAve her my tapestry sewing machine carrier. Kind of flimsy but she put some heavy foam board in the sides and a piece of acrylic in the bottom. But I still have enough to destash.
