I keep trying to use up my stash..but generally, each quilt I use 3 fabrics from my stash...I end up buying two more

Rusty: I think a lot of us have that problem. I shop my stash exclusively but meanwhile sales lead me to replenish a portion of what I use.

I printed out the Joann coupon and went with the intent of NOT BUYING FABRIC....and I didn't. Picked up two clear plastic containers, big enough to hold 12 1/2" blocks (the ones I seem to make the most) and a spool of Stars thread. That way I got to use my 40, 50, and 60% off coupons. The original plan was to buy fabric spray glue but they didn't have any, so I went with plan B.

Oksewglad thanks for the information, I did look at the picture, and funny, but a shop in Saginaw Mi did water lily for the R by R. And for information she said extra kits could be purchased for others. I suppose several shops have done water lilies too. I haven't finished my R by R from last year..........should that be another thread? thanks,, calla
Most of the time I feel that the kit fabrics are too 'different' to go together so I like to use fabrics that I have chosen to use in each row.
And yes OK - your directions were great, very easy to understand, nice job!

I can't wait to see your finished project, Sherry. The one you made last year was delightful..

Rusty - I have a similar problem. I might shop my stash exclusively and find what I need but before the quilt is finished I've bought more fabric than what I'm using. Moratorium has helped with that thankfully.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's finished projects (I love half finished projects too ). Thanks for the link of the row by row. Looks like fun.
Madquilter - way to stay strong on using your coupons. I went several days in a row but only came away with spray adhesive. Quite proud of myself.

I am moving to a town that has no JoAnn's within 60 miles and only one small quilt shop. Unfortunately I have
been using that as an excuse to "stock up". Is there any help for me LOL?

I have used most neutrals from my stash (I made the Giant Swoon) so Wednesday I did some "Stash Enhancing" with three yards of beautiful blenders. I figure this way I will be able to have what I need to a project without shopping. Anyhow made sense to me at the time. Lol
