ABSOLUTELY!! Even though I have a history of falling (or jumping) off the wagon, I really appreciate the support I get from this thread!! I do a little better each year, so my vote is... please?

I vote yes for next year.

I decided to not buy fabric for cyber Monday. Instead I bought thread to last the year and some plastic covers for my accu cuter that I need to be able to work for my cutting machine. I figure that will be my winter project to cut up my scraps into useable pieces. Or that is my plan right now.

Since I wasn't on the 2016 Moratorium, but figured out last month that I need to be, if my vote counts, I vote yes for a 2017 Moratorium as well!!

Just checking back in. I had 51 people for dinner last Saturday. Celebrated the fact that that's over for another year by hitting the thrift stores. Evidently, I can't make it 3 weeks without a fabric purchase. I got a 10 yard bolt of pink print for $7, plus that new to me sewing machine for $12. I don't have a specific project, but don't have any pink or juvenile prints at all, but my gr niece is due in 2 weeks.
Anyone doing better than me?

I feel that if I want to buy fabric I probably will not that I need it but just the pleasure of getting it and making something with it. It is more fun to make something you want to make than just making it to get rid of the fabric you already have.

Very true, newbee3, but I've been buying fabric I have liked for years!! Now is the time for me to use it and I have been making things I like and adding selected fabrics as I need...and then I have some fabrics that allow me to just get it done ...

I have been good. I was in a hurry to head out of town yesterday so I didn't take the time to get some yardage cut from two lavender colored bolts that would have been nice for my Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt. I did pick up more thread and the pillow form that I wanted for a cover I made for a mission fundraiser.

I had someone ask if I had any fleece for a little girl blanket and ended up making 3 small double fleece tied blankets(try saying that fast 3 times. Lol!) and fringing 2 adult ones for someone else to tie. We decided to give each member of the family a fleece blanket. So 9 yards total for the small ones and 8 yards total for the adult ones. 17 yards gone! Wahoo!
