Great looking machine, it reminds me of a Morse Zig Zag I use to have until one of my friends talked me out of her!

Monica, you want to treadle everything! I do too, but I just can't bring myself to taking out one of my beautiful machines to put a different machine in her/his treadle!

Sharon, I wish you weren't in Texas! I need help learning how to get even ruffles when using a ruffler! I have tried using my Mother's ruffler for the Pfaff 130 - it works, but I think I am doing something wrong? The ruffler will gather really nicely then get a flat spot then gather again?

Glenn very nice! I am going to show this to DH so he can make a wood case for my 66-16! I love using the 66 machines from the treadle to the 66-16, but the 66-16 was a rescue without a cabinet nor case! As you know, those 66's don't sit flat without being supported by something!

Great job! That 66 has to be very heavy with the machine and the wood case! That to me is the only draw back to making the 66 a portable machine!

Here is my newest Patchability, Uncle Sam for the 4th of July! My DIL wants this one really bad, as her son - my 2 1/2 year old grandson glued on the stars!

Oh I need to ad that I did all the decorative stitching on the beard, mustache, and applique's with my 503A Rocketeer!

Help !! Does anyone know what this machine is?? It is listed as a Singer, on Craigslist for $40.00. I don't think it is a singer.

If the machine has a potted motor, it is a 15-91. But if your machine has an external motor (or added motor) than it isn't a 15-91. It could be 15-90 or 15-89. More info to read with pictures of the differences in the machines:

Yes, Monica is right - 15-91 is a potted motor, but the 15-89 is a HC. Here are the Class 15 machines.

    15-30 very early treadle - early 1900's, 1895 - 1933
    15-88 Treadle
    15-89 HC
    15-90 Electric/external motor
    15-91 Electric/potted motor gear driven
    15-96 Treadle 1940's +
    15-98 HC 1940's +
    15-125 Electric after 1950

With that needleplate, it looks more like a German made machine to me, altho I'd swear I saw a Singer recently that had a needleplate like that...I just can't remember where!
Either way, it dates to the late 1800s-very early 1900's...
    GRAB IT!!
