I bought that fabric at Walmart, of all places... in a prepackaged cut. They probably still have it. Glad your GS liked it!
And yes, that one is an I Spy quilt!

Love your green quilt, TG! Wherever did you find the beautiful bird fabric?

I am no expert but I do know that peonies are notoriously difficult and sensitive to being moved/disturbed. I waited years to see a bloom on a couple of peonies I rescued from under some concrete (I'm not sure but I think a concrete path was poured right next to/on top of the base of the plants - that's what it looked like, anyway). Now (10+ years later) they are blooming quite happily if they are still a bit spindly and sparse. Patience seems to be the key, although you might be right on needing some sort of soil amendment as well. Good luck!

Getting ready for a short trip with the grands to a campground for their end of school celebration. We're staying in cabins which I've never done before and I feel I have to bring my house. Hubby not liking all the stuff I already have pack.
Jenn love the peonies, never was successful with them, yours are beautiful.
Sewbiz, yea the weather is crazy, and the fest was packed. Beautiful job on your quilts.
traveling gram, nice start on yours.
oh love the bird quilt, I'm sure someone will treasure it.

working on two quilts for hubby's Bose. His first son and since I had extra I'm making one for his 3 yr old stepson. Forgot to order boarder fabric, so waiting on it.
have a safe trip gaijen.
