DH picked up an old Elgin treadle last night. The cabinet, what's left of it, is toast. The top may be salvageable, or will part it out. Front plate is gone, don't know if shuttle is in carrier or not.

How about a picture of your clutch purse. Kathie[/quote]

I haven't taken a picture of the purse yet, but here is a picture of a Monthy Mini I just did - also, this is the little Kenmore I got last Saturday for $5, machine, case, and the little plastic package is the foot pedal and cords.

I have one of those machines that I just got resently. But I had to pay way more than you did. I dont' have all the parts either. But she does purr and sews just fine. Haven't given her the spa treatment yet, so that is a plus.
Love your mini.

Seen a singer treadle at yard sale today, Ser#G4797600, it's a 66 red eye in rough shape. The singer decal is partily rubbed away and there was a pin cushsion around the arm, so the left eye is about gone. The cabinet is rough too, needs to be refinished, had a price tag of $42.50 on it. May go back near end of sale to offer less.

I don't need yet another machine, and I have a FW getting a tune up right now, but...
I saw this on CL and I thought the base and machine looked interesting. It's listed for $200. I have no idea what things like this are worth.

I am laying low tonight in the Fingerlakes, NY state, we just got tornado warnings. Luckily our old farmhouse is timberframed and has a good basement. Guess I will spend a little time down there. I can hear the thunder rumbling right now.
