I wish we had longer "nice" seasons here. An outdoor sewing room sounds very relaxing. Even a room with lots of windows just for sewing would be great. I have my stash in the hallway, machines in the living room, cutting mat in the dining room, and I lay blocks out in the bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are about the only rooms that don't get to be part of my projects...well, unless I'm dying fabric. :)

Billy, I had a question back a couple of months about my 301A. Bobbin problem. Someone came back and had pictures that showed how the bobbin case should go in. The picture showed the pointy thing inbetween this other thing like a U shape. Mine is not like that how do I get mine in that area????? Please help me as I would love to use the machine. Thank you and I do believe you responded to the question on my first time.

I LOVE to dye fabric - it is so much fun. I've done batik on silk with silk dyes, tie dye, Rit dye, mixed Rit dye and natural dye - I think I like natural dye best - it is so unpredictable!

Wow! Batik sounds interesting. I've pretty much stuck with different muslins stuffed into various sized jars and containers for low-water dyeing, that or folded or tied. I have some procion powdered dyes to play with, or I'll pick up some Dylon at Hobby Lobby. I've done some tea dyeing, but not much.

Trish that sounds wonderful, but my DH would not like it if I was 'gone' all day like that - most of the time anyway! I bet you get a lot done with no regular household duties waiting or distracting you. My cargo unit is pretty close to the garage where DH spends a lot of time on wood projects so we still feel we are sorta together - at least in the same vicinity! The best part of being out of the house is I don't get side tracked with a cleaning project! Your situation would even be better for being more productive!

I wish I knew whether this is the 301 table or the 221 table? It looks like the 221. I'd sure buy it if it were the 301 table - I already have the 221 table!

If it is a 221 table and I lived close, I'd like to get it. I'd love one for my little machines. But it's too far from Indiana. :(

That's a table for a 301, the 221 table has a metal "cage" under the table to hold the machine.
Here's a picture of my 221 table, you can see some of the "cage" that holds the machine.

Thanks purplefiend for showing the 221 table. I hope to find one some day. I'd either like that or the cabinet that the 221 goes in. Fat chance of my finding either one here. :(
