Hello guys, I see people have been shopping and Jan I love that you have a free machine and treadle for buying the attachments!! :-D
I am looking forward to your tutorials Charlee, I went shopping today and found a box of attachments for my 500A so I am tickled there. And the lady that I got the machine from said she has the Jewel case with all of the cams and attachments so I will get those tomorrow.
I did run across a brand new in the box Griest Button Holer for a low shank Zig Zag machine that I am going to put in the classifieds so if anyone wants it then feel free to jump on in.
Here are the photos of the goodies I found..

Okay Charlee what are these. I know the top one is a Ruffler the one one the right is maybe an adjustable hemmer and the one on the left is for Binding (?)

Can't wait for the tute Charlee, I only started paying attention to the older machines a couple of months ago, so I know very little about them. Except they sew so well and look so nice. A lot of times when you are talking about different things I have NO idea what you are talking about. But I'll learn.
I have to really get busy cleaning them up nicer. I have been using them though as they sew so much better than the newer ones! haven't gotten the hang of the treadle yet. It keeps going backwards!

I downloaded a free 15-91 manual from Shop.sew-classic.com and it explained all the different feet available, how they worked and had pictures. Yes, the one on the left is one that you would use to attach bias binding. According to the pictures, it 's not prefolded. The foot folds it as you sew.

I cant wait for Charlee to do her tutorial about them. I would like to know how to use them myself from someone that has experiance with them. I have a book downloaded that tells you what all they are and how to use them. But its a little formal and not explained in normal English that I can understand.

Jan are you going to convert your first "Red Eye" to a 66-1?
I was looking at the photos of when you first posted it on like page 1 or 2 and it is a really nice looking machine! It would do it justice if you did do the conversion. You are already half way there all you need to do is pull the Presserfoot Bar out of the 66-1 you just picked up and put it into the other machine you have torn down.
Just a thought, plus with sooo many 66 Red Eyes out there it would not hurt the value any if anything it would make it more desirable.

I know I wasn't supposed to be looking at CL this week. But look what I found. It seems like such a good deal. I have never seen a machine like this before.
What to do :?: :?: :?:

OMG !!!! That is gorgeous. I think I would walk to Riverside for that one.
I haunt CL all the time myself, but we don't seem to get such good deals. I also need to be careful because of places to put them.
My husband is so sweet though. He never says a word when I cart some new sewing machine home. He is a gun enthusiast and I think he understands. My kids see no point in why anyone would need more then one sewing machine. You can only use one at a time. But my husband understands. After all you can only shoot one gun at a time.

You're such an enabler. But is it a really good deal? I sent an email and will call tomorrow and see if they will hold till weekend when I can drive up there. Putting some miles on my car.
