Quick Necchi question: How do we date the machines? I have 2; both say made in Italy. Are those real Italian or Japanese Italian? A hinge in one does say Japan on it.
FW question; Where in the blue blazes do you find the serial#? I am brain dead today and can't find m ine - going through my machines documenting serial #'s, makes and such.
FW serial # is on the bottom (underside) on the needle side next to the drip pan. Just checked mine to make sure.

The one with the side clamp came with an add on stitch length reg. If you remember when I posted a picture of the machine we all wanted to know what that ugly thing was on the front of the machine. I also have a 66 dated 1916 with back clamp. I have another 66 dated 1919 and it has a back clamp. Then I have a Lotus and it has a back clamp dated 1910. Add these to your list so we can keep up with all the dates.

Look at what info comes with it. It's nice to see that someone saved all the paper work.
