Vintagemotif I have found several parts machine(redeye) but have cleaned them up and now sewing with them. I just can't seem to break one apart to use for parts. :lol: I must be an old softie! I love the old ladies missing decals and all. They all look good when cleaned up and I just have to give them a proper home. I am really enjoying my HC. Glenn

The machine looks clean and in good shape. It's very attractive with the beautiful silver detail against the black. I've never sewn with it, so can't tell you anything about how it works. The case is decent, just not as good looking as the machine itself."

I catch a little grief about the sewing machine collecting myself. When they get too rowdy, I just tell my kids, who do not sew, that I am just adding to the estate sale that they can have when I am on the other side. I also threaten to come back and haunt them if they don't keep my grandma's treadle in the family!! LOL
I know what will happen if I keel over before I pare down the number of machines I have: They will all go to the auction up the street, Goodwill, or the curb, depending on the mood my husband or kids are in. Knowing my kids, they'll just sell the house and contents. (They use a different word than "contents"; I'll bet you all know what it is.
We know, Mz Johnny, all of our children say it. That's why I told mine to 'just sell it,' don't try to hang on to it.
