I bought a Singer 403 and a Singer Stylist 457. Both have what looks like a class 66 bobbin plastic bobbin. I bought a couple of packs of class 66 at Walmart (metal) and they won't work. Am I wrong in thinking these machines take the class 66?

I'm not selling on CL, I've got an ad asking for ISO, so it would be legit for her to contact me.
So you just looking for FWs? or other machines too?
I didn't realize your ad was ISO.
Are you in N. CA? Bay Area or Sacramento?
There was a free Singer in treadle posted.

OOh! There's a puzzle box of attachments with it. I hope someone saved the machine and all her attachments.

Some of the CL ads in the Kansas City, Mo, area:
Reasonable, I think.

What are they smoking?

There are others. Some are reasonable but some are just ridiculous. I saw one listed and described as rare. It was a Singer and all the seller showed was the cabinet!

Not me...I'm south of Sac. but that would be close to a 2hr. each way drive for me. Free is good, but not for 4 hours of driving, maybe more depending on traffic. Hope someone picks it up!

Yup, I could go after it, but I don't have room for the treadle.
I'm hoping someone will nab it. But that free puzzle box is tempting.
I passed on this FW yesterday. He is asking a bit high since it isn't the prettiest; has scratches, missing bottom cover, and some wiring needs work.
But if someone wanted a cheap FW to clean up this would be a good one.

Mainly, I'm looking for sad machines for parts. I've had a few responses. I'm actually not looking for a FW either, mainly parts for my 319's and 301.
IF you live up in Sacramento area, there is a lady that could be of help to you for some of your parts. She has thousands of parts! And hundreds of machines!
Well, I'm pretty cheap in this regard...I won't pay "asking" price for some of these parts:> If I can pick up a second, rough machine I'd rather do that. And the hunt is fun:> But, thanks, if I ever HAVE to have a part I'll get her contact #.
