If by regular you mean the same ones that say a singer 15 o 66 would use (forget the designation 15 x something) then yes, thats what it it takes. Oh wait..... I am just assuming we are working on an old singer?

It sat outside for two years. Our daughter found it and brought it to us.
Your machine turned out really pretty. Hope to get some of ours looking as good as yours.
This one had been out in a garden, too. Mizkaki went with me to pick it up. I found that the needle bar on tree goes through a tube and that was the sticking point for this machine. The parlour cabinet Is really interesting on these. The irons actually look OK without the cabinet outside attached. I am actually just finishing up the irons that came with this machine. The last patent date on mine is 1916, but it is from the rear slide plate and I don't know if it is original to the machine. The serial number from behind the pillar is c129673

here are two vintage singers that need someone to rescue them. they are just little dust bunnies. and it sounds like the seller is just trying to unload them now.

If'n I had the cash, I'd be on my way down there to get them. I'd like to play with that 101. I could make a peg leg for the cabinet. LOL.

I was asked to move this to this thread from the other one I posted on because it is more of a discussion group. I was looking for some help on identifying an old sewing machine I purchased. I have a couple of photos, one closeup of the metal logo, and some other longer shots. I searched all the google images trying to find this logo, but was unsuccessful. If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, that's ok, I had a great time looking at everyone's antique sewing machine

Someone suggested that it might be a Demorest??? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I love old things and might have a go at cleaning up this beauty

I don't find "Queen" listed under badge names used by White, but will keep looking. Do you have a link to a White sewing machine that looks like this?

Here is another Queen treadle, from a different angle:
