Your Jane is beautiful Kathy! It's so inspiring to see it finished! Are you going to make the scallops on it? Love the wall hanging also, the colors are wonderful!

Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I am putting little scallops on her. There is a 4" border of muslin all around with the scallops drawn. The extra is so that she can be held in the hoop when I get to the outside edges.

I got 2 blocks quilted last night and some of the sashings around them are done. It's slower going than I thought it would be - because of all the seam allowances underneath.

Those seam allowances are sooo thick that all I can do is stab them Kathy. It is slow going for me doing the blocks too...but they are getting done! Yours will too. I need to count again to see how many I got done this week...

What is your quilting plan??? Are you doing a SID in the sashing or something else? Inquiring minds want to know...

I have a question for you Kathy. I have been looking at Affairs of the Heart and all I can see is for BOM which over the 13 month period works out at 324$ for the fabrics, patterns each month and you also get the book. Have you found a source for the pattern only, would I get it if I bought the book. I am being very sorely tempted this is the first quilt that has really appealed to be since DJ.

I like that quilt too...should we conside this one for our group project after Jane?????? Wil, whatcha' think?

I'm going to go ahead (since I've been so lazy) and post through weeks 50. That will get the schedule through the end of the year for those working ahead. For those working to the schedule, they will be there for reference...NO pressure!!!

That is a lovely quilt, I can't appliqué by hand but I can make some of the blocks with machine appliqué so if that is the group choice I'm in! :D
