carriem, I'm really loving your fabric combinations. What a lovely quilt they all will make!

Orange sherbet is not a surprise from Carrie...she uses this color so well it almost makes me want to like orange...why do some colors appeal to us and others not?

Sew fun to watch your blocks come together....now I have work to do...

Thanks for all the comments on my block. Yes orange is a color I like to use in many different shades. I started with 3 main flower prints (shown in these two blocks) and then the background prints in 4 colors. I decided to add some solids too so those will show up in my blocks soon.

Gayle, your colors are great and you inspire me to get off my rear end and get to sewing.

Thanks so much to everyone for sharing the inspiration!

Yes, it's always exciting to see what everyone is doing and keeps me going. Looking forward to hopefully getting Alice done tonight, and maybe even getting started on Ann. I love the finger pressing idea. That's going to make the process so much easier. I was actually pressing each tiny little seam with the iron.
Now that you ladies gave me some tips on how to make it more efficient hopefully it won't take me as long to do blocks.
