There is a song about a Skunk lying dead in the middle of the road. Its on U-tube. We have sang it together many a time. Very funny. I thought they were called 'Polecats' in the South..

They used to be, but now the term "polecat" refers mostly to the human variety.

I like your story, Bev. I'm glad you had a special (if fleeting) moment with your husband. :-)

Here is my finished Lover's Knot top! It's supposed to be a throw size, but it covers a twin bed.

Love it, SBG. You are so quick at your sewing, I bet that machine hums for you.

Wow, here I am on only the 3rd step of my Lover's Knot top. I mix it up between the Medallion Quilt and this new one. It reminds me of her Log Cabin Quilt which I made several of "in the day"! Having so much fun in my sewing room these days!

It is like her log cabin. Same assembly line type construction. It goes fast. My Juki machine has a speed setting that goes from turtle to rabbit. I usually have it all the way up on rabbit.

My Brother goes fast too - but I don't like to sew fast it kind of scares me! Too old I guess!
