Okay, I hope all of you sign up for this monthly mystery just for us... Pm me with your information so I can make up the list to go in the hat...clear out your old PM messages as there will be alot of PMing keeping each month's recipient a secret. if you have ideas to add to this please speak up. I think the list of participants should be in to me by the end of February...I will need your addresses and personal email as well just in case....this way the first set of blocks should be sent out by the last week in March...If this is too early for any of you let me know and we could then all agree on a date to start...

Suggestion Honchey ... perhaps if you created a fill in the blank questionnaire, then we could all be sure to fill in the same info?

Also, perhaps wome will want to know any other "rules" before signing up? eg. is it to make any block of your choice, for your destined partner? You had mentioned a theme, which might affect some saying yes, I'll do it ... or no, not interested in that.

We have to keep it in this thread in order to keep it "in house"..We can call it the PC Riders Mystery Ride Blocks.

Hi QuiltE, I was thinking of keeping it simple by making any block with color preference...or color/ fabric preference.
the size has to be all the same...we can decide on that...majority rules. For example: I always wanted a red & white quilt...I have some 12.5" blocks done but I need alot more...I would like the background to be white on white. I would like the reds to be shades of red from true blue reds to orange reds...no muddy shades...no batiks just regular cotton, no shiney gold/silver overlays. can be floral/stripes/checks.

OMG ... where are my manners? .... I raced off to send you my "official" email to register and never said THANK YOU HONCHEY!!!!!!!!! ... for making a decision for all of us. And for once again, taking the reigns to coordinate!

The questionnaire does not need to be anything fancy ... just a list of questions to suss out the info needed by the "maker", that we could answer and then send back to you .... to ultimately send on to the "maker"other person.

Due Dates?? ... keeping with the calendar month makes it easy to remember. Guess the question is, is it to have it mailed by month end? or in the hands of the recipient by month end? Which if the mail is not cooperating, there is always a delay potential. Perhaps that the assigned names are distributed between the 15-22 of the month, to potentially give us 6 weeks?

I'm not trying to over-think this or put in added hitches ... just hope that we can do the thinking upfront to be able to avoid any potential calamities. I want this to work!!!!!!!!! :) It's exciting!!!!!!!! :)

QuiltE. when the person who receives the blocks they will pick a # from 1- 13?...I will have the corresponding name that goes with that #...No one will know but me...Ha Ha Ha :).
and Yes, everyone can pick a # ahead of time so that I will know the order of the recipient in order to send out the info.. is this confusing???
