Jeanie & Wendiq love your purses. I've only made one--it took me longer to make than some of the Pony Club blocks. I did make and sell a lot of laptop bags last Christmas. Did so many I can't bear to make another--and of course I don't have one.
This is such a talented group-thanks for showing all the different crafts yinz do!

Jeanie & Wendi - I missed ya'll's last posts. Hmmm. Some how my computer skipped a page.
Jeanie - That is a lovely purse. That blue fabric is divine.
Wendi - She's soooo cute! Perfect!

Yes Mirabelle, I had never heard of it before it started popping up here. Everyone got tired of looking at them, but I decided I liked it, so purchased the pattern. I had the pattern about a year before I got around to trying it out. Funny thing is, I had taken a class on making a backpack purse many years ago at a local quilt shop, but decided I would never use this kind of purse, so never finished it (am I showing my age??? LOL). So I took what I had of the backpack purse apart, and remade it into the mini Bow Tucks.

This is a bag I made my BFF who is undergoing chemo for ovarian cancer. I made her a quilt to take with her but she hung it on her wall. The "ribbon" for ovarian ca is teal but she didn't want ribbons so I made this one which she loves and takes with her to chemo with her Kindle, kleenex, blanket, etc.
