Here is a photo of my completed Sylvia ! I now want to buy some fabric for the border and then ask a friend to quilt it on her LA machine. As you can see, I slightly changed the layout of the quilt and added four blocks from Jennifer Chiaverini's Loyal Union Sampler and made it 12 blocks down and 12 blocks across to make a square quilt.
I used all small print Christmas fabric and it has 3928 little pieces of fabric - (not counting the sashing) and I started this journey on the 24th March 2013.

Oh my Dotty, your Sylvia is stunning!!!!! Those Loyal Union blocks fit right in, I have that book too. I've admired your blocks while you were on your journey, I love the Christmas fabrics!

Have you decided how you will quilt yours yet ? I am still undecided whether to do each block separately ( as I did on my Dear Jane ) or an all over design !!

Wow!!! My blocks are all in a bin, waiting patiently to be finished up. I spent last winter working on UFOs, maybe this will be the winter for Sylvia.

At last I am able to post a photo of my finished Sylvia - which had been sent to an LA lady to quilt it for me.
I then added the binding, a label and a hanging sleeve so that I can enter it into my groups exhibition here in the UK on the 15th January '17.
It seems very quiet here and would love to see how you are all getting on with your SBS quilts.
