Thanks for the link.......I'm behind about 4 days in my reading. We're still trying to put things away from our move. I'm soooo tired of unpacking!!!!!
So glad the shop owner is trying to clear up the problem.

In my case it was one fax calling another. Operator error.

Sign it, date it, and mail it so that it has to be signed for. That should do it. Or you could just answer you phone and say, "We don't want your business, try __________ " and give them the name of another nursery. LOL
I agree.

So far I like this solution. Some of the others just seem too mean to me.

We got our phone# 2 years ago this week. For all that time we have been getting collection calls for several different names. We tell the caller no one is here by that name and to remove our number from their computer. I seriously think people give out random phone#s for reference! One caller this week asked for a name I hadn't heard of before and swore that the person just called from our number...no way lady, don't lie...maybe you have a digit reversed?

I hope you come to a fast and reasonable solution to this long lasting problem.

You are going about this all wrong. If the lady is that stupid then take her orders when you get her calls and guarantee the moon to the customers at low price. She will change the number or go out of business! Let her figure it out. Don't say a word to her. Everyone here is so much nicer than I am after being nice two times and no results.
