I use to tell my EX that I could not sleep
because I had to sort out the day I just
had and plan for tomorrow.

As soon as a man's head hits the pillow he is asleep. I can't figure it out. I wake up several times a night or have a hard time getting to sleep in the first place.

I think it's all the unfinished projects that keep the women awake, our minds don't want to shut down

I do just that Sandy. He's the only man I have ever 'met' that can snore in any position and I wouldn't trade that for anything. It makes me feel secure, knowing that he is there saving me from all the dust bunnies. LOL
So sorry you lost you DH. Happy memories to you. (((hugs)))

(why is it men just drop off as soon as they lay down and snore the night away and we women are awake most of the night?)

I use deep breathing exercises to relax before sleep. I sleep well at night, and if I wake, I read. My husband says he sleeps well because he has a pure heart and a clear conscience.... He trained himself to sleep any time he could while he was in the army. All people are different.
