Do you like the climate/weather where you live?

My father lives in a small town in Idaho (payette) and loves it. He gets some snow but not enough to keep him in and most times temps are close to ours here in no. California. He's close to Oregon for shopping tax free and housing prices seem to be really reasonable.

We live in paradise!!!!
We are in one of the most temperate climates in America. We are 10 miles from the coast so we occasionally get coastal fog. Most of the houses in our city do not have air conditioning. It is only really needed a few weeks of the year. We get by with ceiling fans. We don't(rarely) get frost (very bad for the citrus trees) We have even gone thru winters where the furnace only kicked on 3 times the entire fall/winter. If you go up the grade to Thousand Oaks, it can be 10-20 degrees hotter or colder. That's only 10 miles away
However it is very expensive to live around here.

Same here in silicon valley. Cost of housing is high but there are some great adult communities that are based on income. We really don't have all the seasons here though. We bought a couple places in Texas (Hamilton) thinking we would retire there but since they have had months of 104-110 heat we are looking other places also. Really hard to beat most of California's weather

I'm a Michigander and love where I live. I love my seasons and my lakes. I don't fish, boat or swim much anymore, but it sure is nice to go to the parks for walks and picnics. I like my snow (for short periods). When I'm stuck in, it is a great excuse to sew and read.
