Very much into football (college and NFL). My husband and I are in our 70s and have home tickets for UVA football. We live 2-1/2 hrs away from Charlottesville which means arising at 4 AM to get to noon games. Late games we do not get home until after midnight. We tailgate with our son and wife or son and grandson and have special fellowship. We have attended many Penn State games (my brother has season tickets--love Joe Paterno w/his 400th win).
We both play "fantasy football." I have three teams and my husband has 13. We try to get to our grandson's games in Richmond (a HS senior playing cornerback).
First thing after coming home from church (both AM and PM), we turn on the football game. We are Redskin fans--really. At least they are doing better than Dallas this year. :) This was an amazing question for a quilting board but, as you see, we are kind of "eat up with football." Of course, we love baseball and college basketball, too. There is much quilting time while watching these events.

By the way, i am an avid San Fransico49ers fan!

I learned to understand the game and I have been a fan ever since. Later, my husband thought it was really neat that I knew the game. Of course, as fate would have it, I ended up marrying a Pitt man, so every Saturday we had a war at our house!
My dad's enthusiasm for pro football rubbed off on me and, needless to say, I always have been and still am the biggest, most avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I get very emotional about the Steelers and, even though I live alone now, I never miss a game on TV, and I holler and cheer and pound the furniture and jump up and down and curse and cry and just get SO excited - all by myself! As much as I love sewing and quilting, it all has to wait until after the game!

I get dressed in Steeler gear and yell and scream and pound furniture too! Have been to a few games in my life and that is just so intense and wonderful. Pgh. has the greatest fans in the world!!

I am a huge Nottingham Forest fan, though DH is also a big, big Penn State fan - he got his BS, MS and PhD there. F1 is the other big sport in our household, and we regularly get up at 4.30 am to watch the European races.
