Greek yogurt is fabulous! I cannot stand to eat the regular kind any longer...too runny, too sweet and artificial tasting. I agree it is quite tart. I make my own granola, which I eat with non-fat greek yogurt and a drizzle of local honey (which helps with allergies). Best breakfast ever! I buy mine at Costco.

it is more costly, thicker and wonderful in my opinion. It also has lots more protein.

We love the Greek. I eat it with fruit, nuts and Kashi for breakfast and also make a lot of tatziki (sp?) sauce when the cucumbers were producing but now it died, sadly.

But the one I really, really love is the cantaloupe frozen yogurt! Puree a blenderfull of cantaloupe, mix with a large container of Greek yogurt and some Splenda (depending on how sweet the melon is). Freeze in ice cream freezer. YUM

I like it because it has very little sugar in it. It is great with fresh fruit.

I love it. A little more expensive, but worth it.

Greek yogurt is OK, but I think that it is a little too twangy. I prefer Kroger Carb Master. It also has more protein than the regular brands. It tastes better to me and it cheaper if you are on a budget. Everyone has their own tastes. If everyone liked the same thing there wouldn't be enough to go around. If you don't like the taste of any yogurt, try this recipe:

2 cartons of your favorite yogurt
1 regular pkg. sugar free gelatin of the same flavor
1/4 cup boiling water
1 regular carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Dump the yogurt into a large bowl and whisk to blend. Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water. Whisk into the yogurt until blended. Whisk in the topping until blended. You can pour this into servings dishes, into a graham or cookie crust, layer in dish with cookies and fruit or whatever you desire. Chill until set and enjoy.
