Two things come to mind, one in water class they filled with water .used them for weights In or out of water you can use as weights with the handle.
Next a shelf with cans lines up open facing you, you can see in and grab what you need, or up straigjt with labels,
you could even over them in fabric maybe. I see them on a like a wine all in a line you could have many rows.
Wine rack are short and not to wide. Good for sewing or shop, fabric scraps, buttons, needles, pins, candy, cookies,
nails, screws, cutters, and so on.

I too have trouble tossing "useful" containers. I have tossed them for several months tho I keep the lids to serve up soft pet food. with 4 sm dogs and 2 cats who get really possessive of soft food it helps seperate them at meal time. the dry food is left out and is never an issue. love these ideas! what crafty idea

WONDERFUL love all these ideas except dont have a DH who could use them for nuts and bolts. But that is OK I can do the organizer and maybe save to give next year for gifts or birthday gifts.

I also use them for grease, hubs uses them for screws, etc in the garage, gardening gloves, keeps spiders out...so many uses...had a lot of them so recyclying gets some of them...I use the plastic nut containers for dishwasher detergent keeps it dryer under the sink than the original.

I use them as plant waterers in my veggie garden. I plant in raised rows. I drill holes maybe 15 of them about 1/4 inch in dia. in the bottom. Bury them about 2/3 's of the deepth of can next to your tomato,pepper,or cucumber plants. Then you can use miracle grow to water them once a week or just fill with water about twice a week and fill them more often when it gets hot and your plants are big. This saves from watering the whole row and the weeds coming up in the rows.Your only watering the plants.Mary
