We are very fortunate here that this one will miss us. We "may" get just the northern edge, so not a big problem for us. Our son and DIL are in Arkansas, MIL is in Chicago area but is in assisted living and doesn't have to go out at all. I also have family in Ontario....looks like they will get it too. We will be watching to see how they all fare.

Send the snow our way. We had a lot of snow in November and December. But since then the temperatures have been way above average and the snow pack is melting fast. We are suppose to be in the 60's this weekend. It will be a very dry and the fire hazzard will be very high this summer if we don't get some snow soon.

We live in Granbury,Texas and it's down right freezing...Oh, really I mean below freezing.. Just got a pre-recorded phone call from our electric provider telling us that we will be experiencing rolling blackouts today. We used to go through the blackouts when we lived in the Bay Area in Calif. Yuk,I want spring time.

We are getting dumped on big time right now...nothing is open in town except gas stations....and why would you need gas anyway?

You all take care and keep warm!
I'm 60 miles north of Dallas, 30 miles south of Durant, Oklahoma, and we are iced in, snowed in and expecting rolling blackouts any minute. But I am just about to cut borders for a small quilt and hope for the best. I think bad weather is headed for your area. Stay safe and warm. froggyintexas
