Pam H,
Not sure if it works, but I just took a seminar on pain management. In the seminar they said that 3 -325mg aspirins taken at same time were as effective as migraine prescriptions. As long as you don't have any risks of bleeding (ulcers etc). Hope you get the migraines under control.

I gained this month so no prize for me. But watch out in July; I am claiming it as mine!
Hubby went to visit his mom this weekend. I was going to go but decided not to in this heat. She keeps her house way too hot for me. It has been 2 months since I have been home for a weekend and I am really enjoying it. It's kind of scarey how much I like being home alone. I worked in the garden this morning, did some cleaning this afternoon and have been working on my mystery quilt this evening. It's been a great day except for the migraine (3rd day in a row) from the hot weather. Tomorrow I am not going to work in the garden to see if I can go a day without a migraine.

Thanks for the tip, Crystal. I will give it a try.
This heat is just killing me. I've had a headache every day in the last week except 1. They are not terrible; just very annoying. Looks like we will get some relief from the heat starting saturday.
My daughter is starting to have morning sickness so this grandchild is becoming more real to me. The best news is that they are moving into a duplex only about a mile from our house. I am really enjoying this time with just the 2 of us in the house.

My son used to do some personal training in Arizona and told me to drink two bottles of water at the first sign of a headache when it's warm or humid out. I didn't tell him why at my age that's not a good idea. I have tried a full 16 oz all at once - not his 32, and it helped wonderfully, but my headaches are not migraines.

We need to move over to the July thread and let Cindy close this one.
