I really prefer "military" time. With a 24 hour clock you don't have to question am or pm. How hard is it really to subtract 12?

See if this helps; any time before 1200 noon is the correct time as it shows. Starting at 1pm you deduct 2 and get the correct time. so
1300 - 2 is 1
14-2=2pm
1500-2=3pm
1600-2 is 4
It goes this way until midnight which is 0000 ;then at 1am it starts 0100, 0200, etc until noon then next day
I spent my life around the military and at the hospital that i work at we use it and this is the easiest way that I have found.

there is only one place in the world where it's always the time it is. for the rest of us it's always sometime else.

you really want to get confused? travel from Seoul, ROK to Philadelphia, PA. you will get there before you left.

I did this in 2006 going from southern China to mainland USA! you really do get there before you left- and it really messes with your sleeping habits :-)

Well , here I would have to add 3 hrs... there is 3 hrs difference between Pacific time to Eastern Standard time. :) I suppose I can do that and then figure military time after doing that! lol ;)

I'm ex-military as well so its easy for me and I really didn't know the board was displaying it that way, but the easiest way to convert is add or subtract 12 from the time so if its 1300 its 1 if its 1400 its 2 just subtract 12 from the time.

Having worked for The United States Army back in 1970s & 1980s as a Civilian Employee, I got quite used to it. I now have a digital clock that has a Red Light by the PM hours & have a hard time keeping up so my alarm is set right. Guess it's whatever we get used to.
